Steve's Pickled Cucumbers
Here are 2 recipes for the price of one! Sweet and Savoury. This is a simple mixture and quantities can be varied. As with all pickling and preserving, cleanliness is everything!

Instructions
Boil vinegar, sugar/honey and salt.
Thoroughly wash and cut cucumbers.
Pack in sterilised jars sprinkled with dill, mustard seeds plus allspice and cloves or garlic and onions.
Add vinegar mix and seal jars (top with boiling water as required.)
Leave for 2 weeks before trying. Can be kept in cupboard for 12 months but refrigerate after opening.

500 – 600g sliced cucumbers
500ml Apple Cider Vinegar
150g White Sugar
1 TBS Salt
3 TBS Honey
Mustard seeds
Dill
Allspice
Cloves

500 – 600g sliced cucumbers
500ml White vinegar
100g White Sugar
2 TBS Salt
Mustard seeds
Dill
Garlic (crushed)
Spring onions (sliced)
