Steve's Aussie Burgers

Nobody makes a burger quite like the Aussie corner fish and chip shop. This burger is full of nourishing ingredients and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! Best eaten over the sink.

Instructions

Cook in hot frying pan

Fry off onions and bacon until done but not crispy then move to side of pan

Form Mince into 2 patties (1.5cm thick) and fry until brown

Fry Pineapple and eggs (Crack egg into hole of Pineapple) and flip once

Place fried onion and bacon on top of flipped pineapple/egg

Top with cheese and cover pan for 2 mins

Place stack onto patty

Cut and toast buns, butter

Put BBQ sauce onto bottom bun

Place burger stack onto bun

Top with Tomato, Beetroot, Lettuce

Add your favourite sauce to the top

Ingredients

  • 250g Minced Beef (generously seasoned with salt and pepper)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 Small Onion (chopped into rings)

  • 2 strips Bacon (cut into bite-sized pieces)

  • 2 Pineapple Rings

  • 2 slices Cheddar Cheese

  • 2 Burger Buns

  • Sliced Beetroot

  • Sliced Tomato

  • Lettuce

  • BBQ sauce (or Mayo or Tomato sauce)
